ARBOREAL LACE (J8x32) 3C (4C set) Sue McKinnell

1- 8 1s dance down between 2s and cast back to top; 1s dance down between 3s and cast up to 2nd place (2s step up on bars 5-6).
9-20 2s+1s+3s dance R&L for 3 couples.
21-24 1s turn RH 1½ to face 1st corners.
25-32 1s dance Corner pass and turn with 1st corners and Corner pass and turn with 2nd corners. 1s end facing down in the centre ready to repeat. 213
End of 2nd time through, 1s dance down centre to 4th place, 4s step up as new 1st couple begin

Arboreal Lace 8X32 Reel for 3C by Sue McKinnell

1- 8 1C dance down between 2C and cast up to 1st place. 1C dance down between 3C and cast up to 2nd place. 2C step up on bars 5-6.
9-20 2C, 1C, and 3C dance rights and lefts for 3 couples.
21-24 1C turn 1½ RH to face 1st corners.
25-32 1C dance corner pass and turn with 1st corners and 2nd corners. 1C end facing down in the center ready to begin again. On the second time through 1C dance down to 4th place as 4C steps up and the new 1st couple begins.

Repeat.

Dance Information

This jig, Arboreal Lace, was inspired by heavy wet snow that fell and coated the trees in white making them look like lace drawings.
