3-couple dance in 4-couple longways set

  1-8   1ST COUPLE SET, CAST OFF AND TURN: 1st couple set to each other, cast off one place (2nd couple stepping up on Bars 3-4), and turn each other with right hands 1½ times;

  9-16 1ST COUPLE TURN CORNER LEFT HAND, PARTNER RIGHT HAND, CORNER LEFT HAND, PARTNER RIGHT HAND HALFWAY up and down the dance;

17-24 REEL OF 3: 1st man with 3rd couple starting by passing 3rd man by the right shoulder, 1st woman with 2nd couple starting by passing 2nd woman by the right shoulder: 1st couple end in the middle 1st man between 3rd couple, 1st woman (pulling left shoulder back) between 2nd couple;

25-32 DOWN MIDDLE AND BACK, 3-and-3: 1st man with 3rd couple, 1st woman with 2nd couple, dance down the middle and back (ends turn towards centre to change direction);

33-40 CHASE AND TURN: 1st woman (followed by 1st man) casts off around 2nd woman and dances over to 2nd man's place, then turn partner 1½ times with right hand to 2nd place on own side.

Repeat twice.
