Scottish Country Dance Instruction

Bicycle Chain 5X32 Reel for 5C by Sue McKinnell

1-8 1C dance parallel figures of 8 around 1C and 3C passing 2C LS to start while 5C dance parallel figures of 8 around 4C and 3C passing 4C LS to start. 1M and 5W end facing out.
9-16 1M followed by 1W cast off 1 place as 2C step up and dance across to opposite sides in 2nd place while 5W followed by 5M cast up 1 place as 4C step down and dance across to opposite sides in 4th place. 2C and 1C, 5C and 4C dance LH across once round.
17-24 1C, 3C, and 5C dance diagonal rights and lefts, 3W crossing up and 3M crossing down to start. Ending order is 2, 5, 3, 1, 4.
25-32 3C turn RH, lead down below 4C, and cast up to 4th place on own sides. 1C step up on bars 29-30. Ending order is 2, 5, 1, 3, 4.

Repeat 5 times.
