BLACK HORSE MEDLEY (M-(S32+R32)) 4C set Beryl McGhee Imperial Book 4

Strathspey
1- 8 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance ½ R&L, 1s and 4s lead out of ends and cast to 2nd/3rd place opposite side while 2s and 3s set and cross RH
9-16 1s+4s face diagonally in and set twice (Highland Schottische)
17-24 1s+4s circle 4H round to left ½ way, dance in 1 step and twirl to face corner, set and turn corners (dancing out sides) and end facing up/down at bottom/top
25-32 4s+1s dance Half Rondel:
 4s dance under arch made by 1s who dance up, 1s and 4s cross (Ladies in front of Men), set and cross LH. 2143

Reel
1- 8 2s+1s also 4s+3s dance ½ R&L, 2s and 3s lead out of ends and cast to 2nd/3rd place opposite side while 1s+4s set and cross RH
9-16 2s+3s face diagonally in and set (pas-de-basque) and points twice
17-24 2s+3s circle 4H round to left ½ way, set turning to face corner, set and turn corners (dancing out) ending facing up/down at bottom/top
25-32 3s+2s dance Half Rondel:
 3s dance down under the arch made by 2s who dance up, Ladies cross in front of Men and all cast to meet the other Lady or Man on the opposite side and join nearer hands, set on opposite sides of the dance and cross LH back to own sides. 1234
