Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 1s cross down RH to face out between 2s and 3s (2s step up). 1s join hands with 2s and 3s set
5- 8 1s dance ½ reels of 3 on sides (1s LSh to 2nd corner). 1s end in 2nd place opposite side, 1M facing down/out, 1L facing up/out)
9-16 1s dance reels of 3 across, 1M with 2s (in 3rd place) and 1L with 3s (in 2nd place), 2s and 3s pass partners LSh to start.
2s+1s+3s end in a circle (not holding hands) 1s in 2nd place on opposite sides 1M facing out and up; 1L facing out and down
17-20 1s dance round outside of circle anticlockwise to 2nd place own side, 1s join nearer hands with dancer on left
21-24 1M+3M change places with 1L+2L (Men making arches) and turn away from each other into circle and join nearer hands with dancer on left
25-28 1M+2M and 1L+3L repeat bars 21-24
29-32 1M+3M and 1L+2L repeat bars 21-24
33-40 2s+1s+3s dance 6H round and back. 213
