Dance Information

Célie (8 years old) and Maëlle (9 years old), two little Méaudre Reel dancers, were bored at lunch time. They decided to create a dance to keep themselves busy. In France, the lunch break lasts usually 2 hours, from 11:30am to 1:30pm! It was enough for them to create the dance.

Giving the dance in a huge box to Sophie Marchand, their SCD teacher, as a Christmas present in 2010, the two girls apologised : "c'est pour vous Mme Marchand! C'est une danse mais nous n'avons pas trouvé de titre!", this is for you Mrs Marchand! It's a dance but we couldn't find it a proper title... So the title of the dance came naturally: c'est pour vous!

The very first Méaudre Reel dance had just been created. We'll have to wait for the pandemic and the lockdowns in 2021 to have the first SCD book published by the Méaudre Reel, a SCD group in the French Alps at 1000 metres high.

The suggested tune for this dance, C'est Pour Vous, is C'est Pour Vous - 48 Bar Jig By J Vignon - Music Full Size
