Scottish Country Dance Instruction
The Conversazione A thirty-two bar Strathspey for three couples in a longwise set, devised by John W Mitchell, Published in Whetherly Book 4.1- 8 First couple set, cross over giving right hand in passing; cast off into second place and turn with the left hand to finish facing first corners. Second couple step up on bars five and six.
9-16 First couple set to and turn corners with both hands, to finish in second place on opposite sides.
17-24 Second and first couples dance rights and lefts.
25-32 First couple cross over giving right hand, cast off behind third couple, turn with the left hand and cast up into second place.
Repeat from second place.
