Cook Strait Ferries - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
This dance was devised by Katherine Uren in October 2021.The inspiration for the dance was from Katherine noticing how the ferries passed each other daily across Cook Strait, New Zealand, with the tides strongly surging at the Terawhiti Rip.
This dance is the first to feature the formation: the Interlocking Mignonette in Strathspey time.
