Dance Information

Crail, built around Crail harbour, is a former royal burgh in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.

Crail became a Royal Burgh in 1178 in the reign of King William the Lion.

Built around a harbour, Crail has a particular wealth of vernacular buildings from the 17th to early 19th centuries, many restored by the National Trust for Scotland.

Crail harbour dates from around 1500 and was enlarged and improved in the 19th century.
