9-16 1st and 3rd couples set
Dance half double figure of eight, 1st couple crossing down as 3rd couple cast up
1st couple petronella turn into lines across, 1st lady between 2nd couple, 1st man between 3rd couple
Meanwhile, 2nd and 3rd couples set
17-24 1st lady with 2nd couple, and 1st man with 3rd couple dance half reels of three across, 1st couple starting right shoulder to 1st corner position
Finish in second place opposite sidelines. 2(1)3
Dance half reels of three on the sidelines, 1st couple starting left shoulder to 2nd corner position
Finish in second place own sidelines, all facing anticlockwise. 312
25-32 All chase anticlockwise once round
