Dance Information
I took a Hardanger class at the 2024 IOLI Convention and found the dove's eye filling works the same as Schiehallion reels.Note that this dance is really best for teaching Schiehallion reels as it is a strathspey and it repeats four times, so there is a lot of dancing the reels (it can get a bit boring).
Suggested music is Land of the Heather Hills from The Sunday Class Recorded Highlights Volume 1 by Jim Lindsay or Fill the Fetters from Celebrate 50 Years with the Boston Branch.
