Scottish Country Dance Instruction

DOWN UNDER (J3x32) 3C set M Robertson SCD Archives

1- 4 2s advance pas-de-basque for 2 steps and turn singly right and face own sides while 1s dance up for 2 steps and cast back to place while 3s dance down and cast back to place
5- 8 1M+2M+3M also 1L+2L+3L dance RH across once round to end in original places
9-16 2s turn LH 1½ times and dance RH across with other side to end in 2nd place opposite sides
17-20 All advance for 2 steps and retire
21-24 1L dances under arch made by 2M+3L to 3rd place as 2M+3L turn under own arch with 3L dancing to 1st place while Men dance similarly
25-32 3s+2s (top couples) dance ½ R&L, 3s cross RH and all set
