1- 8 Ladies advance, 1L+3L turning to Right to form diagonal line (1L+2L and 4L+3L facing each other) and set. Ladies dance ½ reel of 4. End facing opposite man
9-12 Ladies dance out and into opposite man's place (4 bars). Men dance in and turn to face Ladies (11-12)
13-16 Couples set to each other and turn to form square set
17-32 Repeat 1-16 back to places (1L+3L turning to Left to form line on other diagonal)
33-64 Repeat 1-32 with Men making the diagonal lines

Ladies step back and kneel
1- 8 Men set, petronella turn, double setting or high cuts
9-32 Repeat 1-8 back to places. Bar 32 Men finish facing partners (who stand up)

1- 8 All set twice; Men turn partner RH and move on anticlockwise to next Lady
9-32 Repeat 3 more times, Men turning each Lady until back in original places

Men kneel
1- 4 Ladies dance 1 place round anticlockwise towards next Man and they set
9-16 Repeat 3 more times until back in original places. Men stand up

1- 4 All set to partner and turn ¼ RH into allemande hold facing anticlockwise
5- 8 All promenade ½ round and form "longways set". 3241
9-24 All dance full Petronella figure (set to partner and Petronella turn 4 times)
25-32 All set to partner and turn ¼ RH into allemande hold facing anticlockwise; All promenade ½ round and reform original square set
