DUMGOYNE (S8x32) 3C (4C set) George S Emmerson Thistle and Trillium

1- 8 1s set, turn 2H, dance down nearer hands joined 1 place, face each other and set advancing passing LSh to end BtoB (Lady facing up and Man down)
9-16 1s circle 3H round to left (1L with 2s and 1M with 3s), 1s set to and turn each other 2H to face 1st corners
17-24 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 1st corners, pass each other LSh, dance ½ reel with 2nd corners and pass each LSh to face out on opposite sides
25-28 1s cast round 1st corners (position) into lines across (1L+3s at top and 1M+2s) while 3s+2s advance and retire, all change places RH up/down
29-32 1s cast round 2nd corners (position) to 2nd place opposite sides while 3s+2s advance and retire diagonally. 2s+1s+3s cross RH to own sides

Dumgoyne is a distinctive hill located on the fringe of the Campsie Fells and is a prominent landmark easily seen from Glasgow.

It is a volcanic plug and stands at 427 meters (1,401 feet) tall.

Dumgoyne is also the name of the nearby hamlet, a popular stop for people walking on the West Highland Way.
