DUNDEE TO MALAGA (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Renée Johnston

1- 8 1s+2s ½ turn RH and 2s followed by 1s lead down for 2 steps, set to partners and dance up
9-16 1s cast to 2nd place opposite sides and dance reflection reels of 3 on sides (1s in and down)
17-24 1s dance ½ Fig of 8 round 3s while 2s cast to 2nd place opposite sides and cross up to top places, 2s+1s+3s turn RH
25-32 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round and back

Dance Information

This strathspey marks the deviser's move from Dundee to Malaga where she taught the Malaga group for many years. (Renée Johnston later returned to Dundee.)

Dundee is Scotland's fourth-largest city and the 51st-most-populous built-up area in the United Kingdom lying within the eastern central Lowlands on the north bank of the Firth of Tay, which feeds into the North Sea.

Málaga is a municipality, capital of the Province of Málaga, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. It is the second-most populous city of Andalusia and the sixth-largest in Spain. The southernmost large city in Europe, it lies on the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) of the Mediterranean, about 100 kilometres (62 miles) east of the Strait of Gibraltar and about 130 km (81 miles) north of Africa.
