Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 1L casts round 2L to face 2M. On bar 4 both bow
5- 8 1L 2H turns 2M and crosses to 2nd place own side (2L steps up)
9-16 1M repeats bars 1-8 with 2L (2M steps up)
17-24 1s lead down, cast up round 3s. 1s lead up middle to top and face down nearer hands joined while 2s step down and join hands to face up
25-32 1s+2s dance RH across for 3 bars, LH back. 1s cast down to 2nd place while 2s dance up to 1st place
