EDINA'S PRIDE (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Alex Gray Edinburgh Diamond Jubilee Dances

1- 8 1s cross down RH, cast down behind 3s and turn RH
9-16 2s+3s+1s circle 6H round and back
17-24 3s+1s ½ turn RH into Allemande hold (3s face down and 1s up) and dance LSh round each other to change places, 1s+3s dance LH across and 1s end facing 1st corners
25-32 1s dance 'Hello-Goodbye' setting ending with petronella turn to 2nd places

Dance Information

This dance, Edina's Pride, was devised by Alex Gray who used to teach classes for RSCDS Edinburgh branch and past Chairman of the RSCDS, to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Edinburgh Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society in 1984.

Recommended Music: The original tune "Charlotte Square", composed by Muriel Johnstone.
