Strathspey 8 x 32 bars 3 Couple Repeat 4 Couple Set Longwise Set

  1-2   1s2s take hands on the sides and set;

  3-6   1s2s half rights and lefts;

  7-8   2s cross by the right WHILE 1s turn by the right to finish facing second corner;

  9-12 2M1M2L 3M1L3L half reels of 3 across, 1s giving right shoulder to start and finishing by turning by the left to face partner's first corner position;

13-16 2L1L2M 3L1M3M half reels of 3 across, 1s giving left shoulder to start and finishing in 2nd place on opposite sides;

17-18 2s1s3s take hands on the sides and set;

19-20 2s3s right hands across halfway WHILE 1M cast, 1L cast up to finish 3L1L3M in 1st position facing down, 2L1M2M in 3rd position facing up;

21-24 all set and link for 3, finishing 3s1s2s on own sides;

25-32 3s1s2s dance the knot for 3 couples, finishing 2s1s3s on own sides.

Dance Notes

    -6   No polite turn.

  9-16 For 2s 3s, the first half reel of 3 across flows seamlessly into the second half reel of 3 across.

12-13 1s make a quick turn by the left to interchange half reels.
