Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 1s dance down, 4s dance up 1 place while 2s cast up, 3s cast down. 1s+4s circle 4H ½ round to Left
5- 8 4s+1s turn partner 2H to finish nearer hands joined 4s facing up, 1s facing down
9-12 4s+1s take prom hold with partner and dance ½ reels of 3 across (4s pass 2L RSh, 1s pass 3L RSh). Drop hands bar 12, 1M+4L face up, 4M+1L down in prom hold
13-16 ½ reels of 3 across (1M+4L pass 2L LSh, 4M+1L pass 3L LSh). Drop hands bar 16, join hands in prom hold with partner, 1s facing up 4s facing down
17-20 ½ reels of 3 across (1s pass 2L RSh, 4s pass 3L by RSh) Bar 20 1s end on Ladies' side, 4s on Men's side
21-24 2M+1L and 4L+3M turn RH while 2L+4M and 1M+3L turn LH
25-32 1s+4s dance the Tournée. Begin bar 25 taking prom hold dancing into centre. Finish on sidelines. 2413
33-40 1s+4s dance ½ RH across while 1s+3s dance ½ LH across. All set. 4s+2s dance ½ LH across while 3s+1s dance RH across. All set
41-44 2s dance ½ Fig of 8 crossing down to start while 4s cast up one place and dance down one place while 1s+3s dance ½ double Fig of 8 (1s cast, 3s cross up to start)
45-48 2L+4L and 1L+3L turn LH while 2M+4M and 1M+3M turn RH
