Dance Information

This strathspey, Evelyn's Dance, was a birthday surprise for Evelyn Ramwell. It has its own tune, Evelyn's Strathspey, by John Renton.

Evelyn Ramwell, dance teacher and deviser, taught a class at Cockermouth Scottish Country Dance Club for 17 years, also holding office as Joint President of the club with her husband, Joe.

The Club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010, dances at the Methodist Church Hall, Cockermouth.
