Scottish Country Dance Instruction
The Ewing Fiddlers 32 bar Reel for 3 couples Barbara R. T. BouwsmaTwice and to the bottom
1-8 First couple set, then cross down below the second couple, cast up around the second couple and dance in to finish back to back in the center, first woman facing second man, and first man facing second woman.
9 - 16 First and second couples dance a reel of four across the dance opposite second place. On the last two bars the second couple dance up to finish in first place, while the first couple pass left shoulders to finish facing their first corners.
17 - 24 First couple set to their first corners, set to partner across the dance, set to their second corners, clap and use two pas de basque steps to petronella into second place on their own side.
25 - 32 First three couples dance six hands around and back.
Repeat, having passed a couple.
