THE FAERIE POOLS (R3x48) 3C Set Les Lambert Glasgow 100th Anniversary1- 8 1s dance in and cast to 2nd place. (2s step up 3-4). 2s+3s Petronella turn to form a line of 4 in the middle and set
9-24 2s+3s dance a Celtic reel giving hands in the turns
9-10 2s+3s ½ RH turn to finish end dancers facing clockwise while 1s set facing
11-12 2L+3M (centre dancers) turn ¾ LH while 2M+3L (end dancers) and 1s dance ¼ way clockwise round the set. 2s and 3s finish in line of 4 across facing partners
13-24 bars 9-12 are repeated 3 more times to finish in same positions as at bar 9
25-32 2s and 3s set to partners, turn ¾ RH (4 bars). All set. (2)1(3)
33-40 1s dance ½ diagonal R&L with 1st corner positions then with 2nd corner positions
41-48 All circle 6H round and back. 312

The Faerie Pools Devised by Les Lambert Glasgow 100th Anniversary Number 4
48-bar reel for three couples in a three-couple longwise set
1 - 4 1st couple dance towards each other and cast off to second place. 2nd couple step up on bars 3-4.
5 - 8 2nd and 3rd couples dance a petronella turn to form a line of four in the middle of the set, and set to partners.
9 - 24 2nd and 3rd couples dance a Celtic reel giving hands in the turns. At the same time the 1st couple, set facing across the set, dance clockwise one quarter place and then repeat this pattern three more times:
9 - 10 2nd and 3rd couples, give right hand and half turn to bring the end dancers into the middle and the middle dancers to the ends facing clockwise. At the same time, 1st couple set facing across the set.
11 - 12 2nd woman and 3rd man (centre dancers) give left hands and turn three quarters while 2nd man, 3rd woman (end dancers) and 1st couple dance clockwise one quarter of the way round the set. The second and third couples finish in a line of four across the set, facing partner.
13 - 24 The previous four bar sequence is repeated three more times with the axis of the reel rotating by 90 degrees after each 4 bars. At the end of bar 24 all three couples will have returned to the same positions as at the beginning of bar 9.
25 - 32 2nd and 3rd couples set to partners then, giving right hands, turn three quarters in 4 bars, to finish on opposite sides in the order (2), 1, (3). All three couples set.
33 - 40 1st couple dance half rights and lefts on the diagonal with first corner positions then with second corner positions.
41 - 48 All three couples dance six hands round and back. Finish in the order 3, 1, 2.
Repeat from new positions.
