Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 4 1s cross down to 2nd place on opposite sides giving RH and face in (2s move up on [1-2]) and all set.
5- 16 R&L for 3 couples
17-20 1L dance half a diagonal Reel of 3 with 2M and 1M, giving LSh to 2M, she finishes where she started the reel.
Order is now: Ladies' side: 2L 2M 3L Men's side: 1M 1L 3M
21-24 1L dance another half diagonal Reel of 3 with 3M and 2M, giving RSh to 3M, to finish again where she started.
Order: Ladies' side: 2L 3M 3L Men's side: 1M 1L 2M
25-28 1s change places diagonally with 3s RH, all set on the side lines
Order: Ladies' side: 2L 1M 1L Men's side: 3M 3L 2M
29-32 1M with 3L (middle places) change places LH, all set on the side lines.
All have got now a new partner: Ladies' side: 2L 3L 1L Men's side: 3M 1M 2M

First lady in bars 17 - 24 in fact dances the track of a complete reel of 3 on the men's side line.
