Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s+2s+3s advance and retire, turn partners RH finishing in middle in prom hold, all facing up
9-16 1s+2s+3s Promenade, ending in original places
17-24 1s set, cast (2s step up), turn 1¼ RH into prom hold (1L on right of 1M) facing 3L
25-32 1s in prom hold dance RSh diagonal reel of 3 with 1st corners (3L+2M), 1s end curving round to face 2L
33-40 1s in prom hold dance ½ LSh diagonal reel of 3 with 2nd corners (2L+3M). While 2L+3M continue reel (i.e. 8 bar reel for 2L+3M), 1s dance down, cross below 3rd place and cast up to 2nd place own sides
41-48 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round and back
