Father To Son - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
This reel, Father To Son, is dedicated to the memory of the great Bobby Brown and the "Scottish Accent" band - and to his son, Laird Brown, who continues the wonderful music for us, with his band "Scotch Mist".Bobby Brown (1941- 2011) was one of Scotland's leading button key accordionists. He was the second youngest child of a family of eleven, and he started to play the accordion at the age of six.
In 2004 Bobby was awarded the Scroll of Honour by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society for his contribution to Scottish music and dance.
