Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 All set and cross RH, set and cross back RH
9-16 1s set, cast 1 place to face 1st corners (2s step up 11-12); 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 1st corners and do a quick ½ turn RH to end in centre in 2nd place nearer hands joined facing down
17-24 1s dance down, cross below 3s and cast up to face 2nd corners; 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 2nd corners to finish back to back in centre in 2nd place facing opposite side
25-28 3L+1L+2L dance RH across on Men's side while 3M+1M+2M dance LH across on Ladies' side
29-32 1s dance to top place on opposite side, cast down 2 places and cross RH to finish in 3rd place while 2s cross RH, retain hands, lead up middle and curve into top place on bar 32 while 3s dance down side, cross diagonally to giving RH curve up into 2nd place. 231
