Square(or triangular) set

  1-8   WOMEN PETRONELLA AND SET TWICE: women petronella to next woman's place on the right, join nearer hands with new partner and set facing the center, then repeat BARS 1-4;

  9-16 CIRCLE HALFWAY AND TURN: all circle clockwise halfway round and turn newest partner with both hands once around;

17-24 SET AND LINK, MEN PROGRESS AND TURN NEXT ¾: set and link with newest partner, then the men dance toward woman on their right and turn them ¾ round by the right hand; repeat bars 17-20;

25-32 REPEAT Bars 17-24 ending in allemande hold facing anticlockwise;

33-40 ALLEMANDE partner once around the set ending by turning the women into the center where they end back-to-back;

41-44 MEN CAST AND TURN: men pull right shoulder back to cast one place clockwise round the set and turn this woman halfway around with both hands (men end back-to-back in middle);

45-48 WOMEN CHASE AND TURN PARTNERS: women chase one place clockwise and turn partners ¾ around with both hands, end one place clockwise round the set.

Repeat 3 times.
