Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Forgan Bank A thirty-two bar Reel for three couples in a longwise set. Devised by John W Mitchell, Published in Whetherly Book 14.1- 2 First and second couples dance right hands across in a wheel half way.
3- 4 First and second ladies change places giving right hand, as first and second men do the same.
5- 6 First and second couples give left hands across in a wheel half way.
7- 8 First couple turn half way with left hand to finish facing their first corners.
9-16 Turn first corners with the right hand, partner left hand, second corners right hand and partner left hand to finish facing first corners.
17-24 Reels of three with corners, passing first corner by the left to commence.
25-28 Six hands round to the left in a circle half way; second and third couples finish facing up and down the set.
29-32 Second and third couples dance half rights and lefts.
