Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 All set, 1s+2s also 4s+5s dance ½ RH across while 3s cross RH; all set and cross LH
9-12 1s and 5s turn partner RH, 1M and 5L face out;
13-16 1M followed by 1L casts up, dances down middle to face 3M, 1L to face 2M while 5L followed by 5M casts down, dances up middle to face 3L, 5L to face 3L
17-24 Reels across: 1L+2s reel of 3 (1L RSh to 2M), 1M+3s+5L RSh reel of 4, 5M+4s reel of 3 (5M RSh to 4L). 2s+3s+4s end on sides, 1s+5s in middle 1L+5L and 1M+5M RSh to RSh (Order:1L 5L 1M 5M)
25-32 Middle couples Balance-in-Line, 1L+5L and 1M+5M ½ turn LH; Balance-in-Line again, 5L and 1M set while 1L+5M ½ turn RH. 5s and 1s join LH with partner, facing 2nd corners
33-36 5s and 1s set to partner while 2nd corners set advancing to join them to dance RH across ½ way. 1s and 5s face 1st corners
37-40 Repeat 33-36 with 1st corners (5s and 1s RH joined, ½ LH across with corner. 1s end facing 2nd corner (position)
41-44 Repeat 33-36
45-48 5s set RH joined and cross down LH to 3rd place while 1s set RH joined and cross down LH to 5th place (3s and 2s step up 47-48). 43521
