3-couple dance in 4-couple longways set
1-8 1ST SET, CROSS, CAST AND TURN: 1st couple set, cross by the right, cast off one place (2nd couple stepping up on Bars 5-6), and turn each other ¾ times by the left Hand (retain partner's hand and give right hand to 1st corner);
9-16 BALANCE, ½ TURN, BALANCE, ½ TURN: balance in line (1st couple with 1st corners), turn corners into centre and retaining hands balance in line again, then 1st corners turn halfway with left hands;
17-24 REEL OF 4: 1st couple and 1st corners dance a reel of 4 diagonally across the set - on Bars 23-24 1st corners set in original places AS 1st couple turn left hands and retaining hands offer right hands to 2nd corners;
25-32 BALANCE, ½ TURN, BALANCE, ½ TURN: balance in line (1st couple with 2nd corners), turn corners into centre and retaining hands balance in line again, then 2nd corners turn halfway with left hands;
33-40 REEL OF 4: 1st couple and 2nd corners dance a reel of 4 diagonally across the set: on Bars 39-40 2nd corners set in original places AS 1st couple turn left hands once round to end in 2nd place on own side.
Repeat from 2nd place.
