GILL'S JIG (DANCING FINGERS) (J4x32) 4C Set Sheila Trafford Newcastle 70th Anniversary1- 4 1s+2s also 3s+4s dance ½ R&L (no polite turns), 2L and 3M face out
5- 8 2L followed by 2M also 3M followed by 3L chase anticlockwise ½ round to opposite end while 1s+4s dance RH across remaining in centre
9-16 1s+4s give LH to nearest corner and dance Spoke moving clockwise once round and remain in centre
17-24 1M followed by 1L also 4L followed by 4M dance RSh Tandem reels on sides (1s out/ down Ladies' side, 4s out/up on Men's side). End 1s between 3s at top facing down, 4s between 2s at bottom facing up
25-32 1s dance down under arch made by 4s who dance up, turn corners with free hand and change places RH on side (polite turns), all 4 couples set. 3142
