GLENMORISTON CEILIDH SPECIAL (J4x40) 4C set J Varney

1- 8 All advance and retire and dance DoSiDo
9-16 1s and 3s set and dance La Baratte with RH while 2s and 4s set and dance La Baratte with LH, all ending on opposite sides:
 Men ½ turn Lady RH/LH and retains hand but at arm's length from each other
 Men retrace steps with Lady turning right/left under Man's arm briefly into Allemande hold (Man behind Lady facing Lady's original place) and releasing Ladies RH/LH she turns under Man's left arm until almost in original places
 Couples change places LH/RH to opposite places
17-20 1L dances RSh round 2L to face her while 1M dances RSh round 2M to face him
21-24 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 2s and ½ turn partner RH to face 3s
25-32 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 3s and ½ turn partner RH to face 4s, 1s dance ½ reel of 4 with 4s and ½ turn RH to end in 4th place
33-40 All circle 8H round and back

Glenmoriston or Glen Moriston (Scottish Gaelic: "Gleann Moireasdan") is a river glen in the Scottish Highlands, that runs from Loch Ness, at the village of Invermoriston, westwards to Loch Cluanie, where it meets with Glen Shiel.
