THE GRAMPIAN STRATHSPEY (S4x32) Sq.Set Grampian Collection of SCDs

1- 8 All dance Grand Chain
9-16 1s lead down through 3rd place (1M followed by 2L+2M+3L, 1L followed by 4M+4L+3M); 1s (followed by others) cast and dance up to top place to form 2 lines facing across ("Ladies' side": 1M 2L 2M 3L "Men's side": 1L 4M 4L 3M)
17-24 All set to opposite person and cross RH; all dance ½ reels of 4 on sides
25-28 In order from 1st place, pairs of couples - 3s face down, 2M+4L face up, 2L+4M face down, 1s face up - all couples take Allemande hold and dance anticlockwise round to
 TOP         2L+4M      1s
 TOP            3s       2M+4L
29-30 Men turn Ladies into centre to form 2 lines up/down set all facing in
31-32 Each Man drops RH, passes the Lady he is with by left (Bar 31), passes next Lady by Right, all dancing into original places

Repeat with each couple in turn leading through the opposite place on bar 9 and dancing same figures on new alignment
