A Highland Welcome (Dickson) (J8x32) 3C (4C set) 32 bar Jig for 3 Couples in a 4 Couple Set, devised by John Bowie Dickson, Published in Cockleroy Collection.1- 8 1st couple cross right hand and cast down as 2nd couple step up
1st couple dance half figure of eight around 2nd couple and finish in promenade hold facing 3rd man
9-16 1st couple dance half reel of three across with 3rd couple, giving right shoulder to 3rd man
1st couple dance half reel of three across with 2nd couple, giving left shoulder to 2nd lady, finishing on own side. (2)1(3)
17-24 Mirror reels of three on own sides, 1st couple beginning out and down
25-32 1st couple cross below 3rd couple and cast up
All set and cross right hand. 213
(On second time through: 1st and 3rd couples dance half right hands across)
