Scottish Country Dance Instruction

INSPIRED BY DIAMONDS (S8x32) 3C (4C set) Wouter Joubert Fields of Gold

1- 4 1s turn RH and cast 1 place (2s step up 3-4)
5- 8 1s dance ½ diagonal R&L with 1st corners (Man down, Lady up)
9-12 1s dance ½ diagonal R&L with 4th corners (Man down, Lady up). (3)1(2)
13-16 1s Petronella turn into centre and set moving on bar 16 to face 1st corners
17-24 1s and 1st corners dance ½ diamond reel of 4:
 17-18 1s dance out (pass RSh) as 1st corners pass LSh and turn to face each other on the 2nd corners diagonal (Long steps) into diamond formation
 19-20 1s and 1st corners set, on bar 20 1st corners move in to finish BtoB in centre facing 3rd corner positions
 21-22 1st corners dance out as 1s dance in (long step) and Petronella turn to 2nd place on opposite sides
 23-24 1s set and move on bar 24 to finish BtoB facing 2nd corners
25-32 Repeat bars 17-22 with 2nd corners, 1s end facing partner up/down set and Petronella to own sides. 213
