The Isolated Weasel - Scottish Country Dancing Instruction VideoDance Information
The formation "Weasel Reel" was created by Barry Skelton on July 1st, 1990. Barry lives up north of Auckland in New Zealand.Late in March of 2020 New Zealand went into lockdown because of the Covid19 virus. We were asked to stay at home, only venturing out for groceries or medical needs, and a little exercise close to home.
Basically being in isolation at home, in level 4 for almost five weeks, I looked to my idea's chart and the formation "Weasel Reel" jumped out at me, and with heaps of time on my hands it was time to work on a dance with this magic formation, and to finish dances that had been started, and not completed.
I contacted Barry Skelton to ask if he would mind if I used his original formation "Weasel Reel" which he was kind enough to give me the ok for.
Recommended music: Sleep Walking, CD Heather Hills by Mara Shea and Dave Wiesler, Track 12.
