A JIG FOR HELEN (J4x40) 4C set Peter Avery Newcastle Half Century Book

1- 8 All join hands on sides and set, all circle 8H ½ round to opposite sides, and all set
9-12 1s+4s dance RH across to finish right hands joined in centre, 1s facing down, 4s facing up
13-16 1s cross below 2s and cast up to 3rd place while 4s cross above 3s and cast down to 2nd place own sides (2s and 3s step down/up 15-16)
17-24 2s+3s repeat bars 9-16 (1s and 4s step down/up 23-24)
25-32 1s nearer hands joined dance up and cast to 4th place while 4s+3s+2s set twice and turn partner RH
33-40 4s+3s+2s Allemande. 2341
