A JIG FOR ROBERT BLACK 40J3 (4C set) Jack Pressley1 - 4 1st couple, giving right hand, cross and cast into second place on opposite sides of the dance. MEANWHILE, On bars 1 - 2, 2nd man, giving right hand, changes places with 3rd man, WHILE 2nd lady, giving left hand, changes places with 3rd lady. On bars 3 - 4, 3rd couple dances up to first place. Finish in order 3(1)2
5 - 8 1st couple dance a half a figure of eight (1st man up through 3rd couple and 1st Lady down through 2nd couple and passing left shoulder finish facing first corner position, WHILE 2nd and 3rd couples wait 2 bars then on bars 7 - 8 giving left hand to partner cross to opposite side. Finish in order (3)1(2)
9 - 16 1st couple, Set to corners and partner (Hello - Goodbye). On bars 15-16, 1st couple dance Petronella Turn to finish back-to-back in the middle their facing partner's first corner position.
17 - 20 1st couple, giving right shoulder, dance round their partner's first corner position pass right shoulder in the middle to face, their partner's second corner position. WHILE first corners change place on the diagonal by giving right hand half turn and cast to opposite corner.
21 - 24 1st couple, giving right shoulder, dance round their partner's second corner position pass right shoulder to finish facing their first corner, WHILE second corners change places on the diagonal by giving right hand half turn and cast to opposite corner.
25 - 32 1st couple dance Corner Pass and Turn with first corners pass right shoulder in the middle and then dance Corner Pass and Turn with second corners finishing in second place on own side with 1st man facing up and 1st lady facing down.
33 - 40 1st couple, giving right shoulder to their first corner, dance Reels of Three on own side of set finishing in second place on own side.
