Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Jim Barrie A thirty-two bar Reel for three couples in a longwise set. Devised by John W Mitchell, Published in Whetherly Book 9.1- 8 First and second couples dance four hands round in a circle to the left and back to the right.
9-12 First and second couples set and cross over giving right hand to partner.
13-16 First and second couples dance right hands across in a wheel once round.
17-20 First and second couples dance half rights and lefts.
21-24 First and second couples dance left hands across in a wheel once round.
25-32 Reels of three on own side of the set: first and seconds pass by the left to commence.
Repeat from second place. Recommended tune: Jim Barrie
