1- 8 1st couple dance in and cast to second place as 2nd couple step up
1st couple dance right shoulder around 1st corners to finish facing them
9-16 Corners pass and turn. 213
17-24 1st couple set and petronella turn into position facing lines of three
3rd couple set and link. (2)1(3)
25-32 Diagonal Rights and Lefts. 312
33-40 All dance toward partner, touch nearer hands, and dance up back to place
All turn partner both hands. 312

This dance, John Of Dumbarton, was devised in memory of John H Corcoran MBE, a good friend of the deviser, Isabel Neves.

From 1988 to 2002, John Corcoran (1938-2018) was Director of the English Language Summer Courses at St Andrew's College, Bearsden, Glasgow.
