THE JOVIAL GENTLEMAN (J5x48) 5C set Doris Buchanan Leicester Silver Collection

1- 8 2s and 4s set then turn ½ way RH and 2s end facing up and 4s face down, 2s lead between 1s and cast to 2nd place opposite sides while 4s lead down through 5s and cast to 4th place opposite side
9-16 All dance Double Tandem reels of 3 on sides:
 1L+2M, 1M+2L, 4M+5L and 4L+5M dance in Tandem
 3L passes 1L+2M LSh as 3M passes 4L+5L LSh to start and all end back where they started at bar 8
17-20 1L+2L+3L+4L+5L advance towards middle, join hands briefly and retire
21-24 Men repeat bars 17-20
25-32 All circle 10 hands left and back to place
33-40 1s+3s+5s Petronella to opposite side [All now on opposite sides (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)]
41-44 1s cast off to 5th place while 2s+3s+4s+5s set on sides joining hands and cross up 1 place, all turn RH as 1s turn RH 1½ times
