Jubilee
Scottish Country Dance Instruction
Jubilee (R8x32) 32 bar reel for three couples in a four couple longwise set, Eddy West, 20071-4 First couple turn with right hand moving down the set to finish facing second corners. Second couple step up on 1 and 2.
5-8 First couple dance a half reel of four with second corners, on the last bar first couple approach one another across the set and pull right shoulders back to face first corners.
9-12 First couple dance a half reel of four with first corners, on the last bar first couple approach one another up and down the set and pull right shoulders back to finish lady facing up, man down.
13-16 First couple dance out the ends of the set and cast to the left to finish in second place on opposite sides
17-20 All cross giving right hands then chase a quarter way round clockwise.
21-24 All change places up and down giving right hands and chase clockwise to own sides.
25-32 Second, first and third couples dance six hands round and back.

This dance was devised to remembering the Auckland Region 50th anniversary.Devised after attending the 50th anniversary Labour Weekend School.
