The dance was devised for Martin McWilliam on his retirement as chairman of the RSCDS Central Germany Branch in September 2026. He had served as chairman of the Branch for many years.Martin McWilliam is a ceramic artist who produces pottery including decorated mugs and vases. As a Scottish country dancer, he is also known for adding flourishes and twirls to his dancing.
