Scottish Country Dance Instruction

Lake Louise 8x32 Strathspey for 3C by Sue McKinnell

1-4 1C slow cast to 2nd place. 2C step up on bars 3-4.
5-8 1C set advancing and turn BH halfway, then pull RS back to end back-to-back facing 1st corners.
9-12 1C and 1st corners set advancing passing LS to change places, then 1st corners turn BH once round and pull RS back to face original positions while 1C and 2nd corners chase 1 corner position CW around the set.
13-16 Repeat bars 9-12.
17-20 Repeat bars 9-12, ending with 1C (who are now in the center), turning BH to end back-to-back, 1W facing down and 1M facing up while corners chase CW.
21-24 1C dance out the ends and cast left to 2nd place on own sides.
25-32 2C, 1C, and 3C dance diagonal rights and lefts, 1W crossing up and 1M crossing down to start.

Repeat.
