THE LANES OF AU (R3x32) 3C set Michael Watson RSCDS Book 321- 8 2s ¾ turn RH, 2s dance LH across ½ way (2L with 1s and 2M with 3s), 2s cast on opposite sides and turn in to face 1st corner positions while 1s+3s dance ½ R&L starting by changing place on sides RH
9-16 2s change place LH with 1st corners, 2s set as centre couple (1L+3M) change place RH, change with corners LH, 1L+3M set as 2s turn face 2nd corners
17-24 2s change place LH with 2nd corners, 2s set as centre couple (1M+3L) change place RH, change with corners LH, 1M+3L set as 2s turn RH to own side
25-32 1s+2s dance RH across ½ way, 1s+3s dance LH across ½ way, 2s turn RH 1½ times while 1s turn LH 1½ times. 231

Reel 3 x 32 bars 3 Couple Repeat 3 Couple Set Longwise Set
1-2 2s turn by the right ¾;
3-4 1s2L 2M3s left hands across halfway, finishing 2L above 1s, 2M below 3s, both on the centre line, facing anticlockwise;
5-8 2L cast and dance in and up WHILE 2M cast up and dance in and down, finishing back-to-back facing first corners' positions, WHILE 1s3s half rights and lefts, crossing by the right on the sides to start;
9-10 3M2L 2M1L exchange positions by the left on the first corners' diagonal;
11-12 2s (in their first corners' positions) set WHILE 3M1L exchange positions by the right on the diagonal;
11-12 2L1L 3M2M exchange positions by the left on the diagonal;
15-16 2s turn by the right to face their second corners' positions WHILE 1L3M (on opposite sides) set facing on the diagonal;
17-24 2s repeat the chain and set figure of bars 9-16 with their second corners' positions, finishing in original places on own sides, 1s3s on opposite sides;
25-26 1s2s right hands across halfway;
27-28 1s3s left hands across halfway;
29-32 2s turn by the right 1½ times WHILE 1s turn by the left 1½ times, finishing 2s3s1s on own sides.
