Scottish Country Dance Instruction

1- 8 1s+2s circle 4H round to left; 1s+2s set down/up nearer hands joined with partner, 1s turn inwards, dance up and cast to 2nd place while 2s dance up to 1st place and face out
9-16 1s followed by 2s dance down, cast up round 3s, cross up LH and cast round 1st place, 1s to 2nd place opposite sides, 2s curve into 1st place opposite sides
17-24 2s+1s set and link; 1s+2s dance ½ R&L
25-32 1s+3s dance Bourrel:
 25-28 1M+3L advancing, ¾ turn 2H and twirl to end BtoB (Lady facing up and Man down) while partners chase anticlockwise to face partner
 29-32 1s+3s set to partners and turn 2H to own sides having changed places. 231
