THE LEAVING OF THE RISE (R4x32) 4C set Peter Avery Newcastle Half Century Book

1- 4 1M+2M+3M set diagonally down to 2L+3L+4L and change places diagonally RH
5- 8 1L+1M+2M (top 3 Ladies' side) set to 3L+4L+4M (bottom 3 Men's side) and change places diagonally RH
9-12 Ladies circle 4H to left while Men circle 4H to left; 1L+4L and 1M+4M drop hands bar 12 to form circle of 8
13-16 Circle 8H round to original places (2 bars), 1s+4s drop hands with partners, set on sides, joining hands on 1st bar, turning on 2nd bar to finish 1s+2s facing up, 3s+4s facing down
17-24 1s+2s dance double Fig of 8 (2s cross, 1s casting to begin) while 3s+4s dance similar (3s cross, 4s casting) 1s finish in top place
25-32 1s cast behind 2s, dance in front of 3s, behind 4s and turn RH. (2s+3s+4s step up 29-30) 2341
