Scottish Country Dance Instruction

LOCHEARNSIDE (S4x32) 4C set John Drewry Donside Book

1- 8 1M+2M also 3L+4L cross, pass partner RSh and dance down/up opposite side, all Ladies also Men dance RH across at top and bottom
9-12 All dance ½ reels of 4 on sides (centre dancers do not complete ½ reel but turn right about to face partner)
13-16 All set, ½ turn partner 2H and couples dance round to 4s/3s facing down and 2s/1s facing up. 4231
17-24 4s+2s also 3s+1s circle 4H round to left, set and 4s turn inwards to face up and cast to 2nd place while 1s turn inwards to face down and cast up to 3rd place
25-32 4M+1M also 4L+1L cross to opposite sides (Men's arch) and turn 2H to face partners, 4s and 1s dance ½ Figs of 8 round 2s/3s. 2413
