1- 8 1s+2s+3s dance 3 couple Allemande (on bar 1 Men dance diagonally across as Ladies dance up slightly. As 1s meet they rotate to face Men's side in Allemande hold) 321
9-16 1s lead up to top and cast to 2nd place (2s step down on bars 11-12). 1s turn RH to 2nd place own sides facing out. 312
17-24 3s+1s+2s dance Promenade (Chaperoned) Chain progression:
 17-18 3s and 2s ¾ turn partner RH into middle while 1s dance clockwise ¼ round the set picking up 3L/2M...
 19-22 who promenade ½ way clockwise while middle people (3M+2L) turn LH 1½.
 23-24 2s and 3s turn partner RH ¾ to own sides while 1s dance clockwise ¼ round to end in 2nd place. 213
25-32 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round and back

This reel, London Nine-O, was the winning entry for RSCDS London Branch in the 90th Anniversary New Scottish Dance Devising Competition.

Betty Arrol of Ruislip, England, named the dance London Nine-O and under the competition rules this dance was chosen by London Branch as being the best suited for this dance and occasion.
