Scottish Country Dance Instruction
THE LONG CHASE (R8x64) 4C set RSCDS Book 111- 8 Top couple followed by other 3 couples cast to bottom and lead back up to top
9-16 Top couple lead down to bottom and cast up to top on own sides
17-24 Bottom couple lead up to top and cast to 4th places
25-32 Top 2 couples also bottom 2 couples dance RH across, clap and dance LH across back to places (2nd time - middle couples dance RH/LH while end couples turn RH/LH)
33-40 1s+2s (top 2 couples) dance Allemande (2nd time - middle couples dance Allemande)
41-48 All turn RH then LH
49-56 1s lead up 1 place and cast 1 place to face 1st corners, 1s set to 1st corners then set to 2nd corners
57-64 1s dance reels of 3 on opposite sides giving RSh to 2nd corners and cross to 2nd place
